Heesen

Founded by Frans Heesen in 1978 in Oss, the Netherlands, Heesen Yachts was the first Dutch shipyard to employ aluminium alloy for the building of yacht hulls. Since then the yard has become a world leader in the design, engineering and construction of high performance, all-aluminium motoryachts. In 1992, Heesen Yachts expanded their business to include the construction of traditional displacement, long-range steel-hulled yachts. Today, the company can deliver magnificent superyachts of between 34m and 75m and beyond. In 35 years we have delivered nearly 170 yachts. The current fleet includes aluminium, steel, displacement, semi-displacement and the revolutionary fast displacement hull form. Heesen is financially secure, large enough to cope with complex construction, small enough to care about each project, motivated to pioneer innovations and dedicated to continuing the tradition of Dutch quality shipbuilding.

I have known Peter Insull for at least three decades and enjoyed working with him and his team of professionals. The brokerage house that bears his name is a boutique firm where the clients, their needs and aspirations are at the centre of attention. We hope to have the chance to work with Peter very soon on a project for Heesen.
