This is a rare window of opportunity to acquire a top quality Espen Oeino designed motor yacht while still under construction. A very high technical specification has been applied to this project which is often not the case with yachts built on speculation by shipyards. The steel hull and aluminium superstructure of the yacht are completed and the next stage of the build process well underway in VSY’s brand new facility in Viareggio, Italy.

The timing of this opportunity, with delivery scheduled for summer 2008, will allow a new owner to put his personal stamp on the yacht without the minimum 3 year wait which is required for a brand new build project from the start of the planning to the final delivery to the owner.

The design of the yacht, which has a sleek balanced profile more usually associated with northern European shipyards, is such that she offers excellent spaces for a new owner both on deck and in the interior.

Guest accommodation consists of a total of six guest cabins as well as two cabins for the owner’s private staff. The interior decorator will be appointed during the third quarter of 2006, accordingly the style of the interior decoration is, as yet, undecided. This would naturally allow a buyer to have his own input into this very important decision.

Oeino has created wonderful deck areas on this yacht aided by the storage of the tenders in the garage of the yacht. As you would expect on a vessel of this size, the decks are expansive and offer many different areas for dining and relaxation. Of special interest will be the helicopter landing pad and the large swimming platform which allows easy access to the water and to the tenders and toys.

blind date

This stunning yacht is a combintation of European pedigree and American interior design. Originally built in Germany for a European owner, she was superbly maintained and was even stored ashore under cover during the winter months.

Under new ownership, the interior of the yacht was completely rebuilt under the careful eye of designer Patrick Knowles and transformed to create the cool and calm ambiance which makes her rather special today.

Blind Date is a fast sleek yacht with a top speed of 24 knots - her shallow draft grants you access those quiet bays and coves inaccessible to many.

Her deck areas, which experience has shown are an important feature of life on board a yacht, are superb and offer shaded areas as well as spots for sun lovers.

Blind Date is now offered for sale as the owner is building a larger yacht.

Not available for inspection by US residents while in the USA.

bacchus

From conception to conclusion, this New Zealand built yacht boasts a generous personality for her size. Her well proportioned interior includes an expansive main salon and a private dining area.

Four guest cabins, each with an en suite bathroom are all equipped with state of the art entertainment systems. There is also a guest laundry facility on this deck.

The traditional rich sapelle finish gives way to modern amenities and flexibility on the main decks. On the large split level sun deck, space is provided for entertaining, dining and sunbathing as well as a barbeque area, bar and plenty of room for toys.

Thanks to her semi-diplacement hull form and powerful, light weight MTU engines, this recently completed yacht offers the dual advantages of a maximum speed of 16.5 knots along with a range of 2,3000 nautical miles.

grace

Motor vessel "Grace" is a newly built steel 158 ft "gentleman's yacht" in the style of the successful passenger vessels of the early 1900's. She has all the modern electronics, technical systems and safety equipment required for safe operation, but her lines are resolutely classic.

Outside, the teak decks, bronze deck fittings and lights recall the golden age of travel by sea. "Grace" aims for high quality without being at all ostentatious. Meanwhile, inside, the traditional paneling and period furniture recall country house luxury. There are 5 double guest cabins, (3 doubles and 2 twins) all with their own bathrooms.

The library features a well insulated fireplace for use in colder conditions. Whereas in warmer climes the aft deck, bridge deck and sun deck offer panoramic views for sunbathing and open air entertainment.

"Grace" is built as a commercial vessel under Dutch flag and classed for unlimited world wide commercial navigation by the Dutch Shipping Inspection and Bureau Veritas. Her strengthened hull, propellers and rudders allow certified operation through ice of up to 40 cm

The ship is fitted with a system of ship's batteries and inverters that enables totally silent mooring and anchoring at idyllic locations without disturbance.

A maximum speed of 12.5knots can be reached with a range of more than 5300 nm at 10 knots.

islander

It is difficult to appreciate the qualities of this magnificent motor sailor without stepping on board her.

Many of her features are clearly the result of careful forward planning by her experienced owner and designers. These, now common on more recent vessels, were unusual at the time of her construction – her KeMeWa water jet propulsion – the retractable keels, allowing her close access to the beach - the full size elevator which rises from the lower deck up to the sun deck – the opening doors in the hull - the large crane, capable of lifting a small car - the list goes on and on.

The magnificent main saloon of the yacht runs the full width of the ship and offers four different seating areas as well as a wonderful Steinway grand piano with which to entertain guests. The owner’s suite is completely private from the rest of the ship and also takes up the full beam of the vessel. This huge cabin is flanked by his and hers bathrooms fitted out in magnificent honey coloured marble, two large dressing rooms and private office.

Of course, much of the time spent on board any yacht is on deck and Islander has many different areas. Forward of the bridge there is a seating area where breakfast can be taken and large sun pads where guests can relax in the sun in comfort. Leisurely lunches or dinners can be served in the shade on the bridge deck level and probably the most spectacular area is the upper deck with its large swimming pool, barbecue and circular bar. This is the perfect place to while away the days.

Islander is, after all, a sailing yacht and there is nothing to be compared with the gentle motion of a yacht under sail. Her 150ft schooner rig is easy to handle thanks to her furling sails, joystick controls.

This is a very impressive vessel and inspection by anyone looking for a long distance cruising yacht is highly recommended. She has also proved to be highly successful for charter - ideal for corporate entertaining.

barcablu

If you are interested in going off the beaten track to the lesser-known cruising areas of the world, “Barcablu” could be the yacht for you!

This immensely strong, no nonsense, but stylish, motor sailor is constructed of steel and fitted with reliable Caterpillar machinery.

Barcablu has an incredible 7,000 mile range under power and can take you anywhere in the world in safety and comfort.

To the seasoned mariner Barcablu has many attributes - a fully separate wheelhouse with good visibility - stand up headroom in the engine room - ABS classification - masses of deck space for tenders and toys – shaded exterior deck areas and so it goes on……

The present owners of Barcablu commissioned her from the shipyard twenty-five years ago. They have only ever used her privately, have maintained her correctly and never offered her for charter.
